Projects

Description

The international exhibition of almost four dozen student projects entitled "Less is More" presents a diverse range of interpretations of the traditional modernist imperative attributed to Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. It illustrates how it is relevant for today's young creative generation, or to what extent it has the need to critically define itself against it.

A number of projects, from furniture and product design to graphic and digital design, for example, ask the question whether the path to the future is through smart solutions that reduce material, usage of new or rediscovered traditional technologies and procedures, more responsible and conscious handling of digital space, or whether, on the contrary, "less" does not really mean less and deprives us of the variety of life?
